Road closed off after street attack
A town street was closed off following a serious evening assault, police have confirmed.
Police were called to Market Street in Hemsworth at around 9.30pm on Friday, September 18.
The victim was assaulted and suffered facial injuries and the police shut the road next to the Tesco store for several hours.
Police say enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is being asked to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 13200470151.
