Fire breaks out at textile company

A blaze broke out at a textile manufacturing company in Wakefield.

Firefighters were called to W.E Rawson at Portobello Road at around 7.40pm on Monday.

A plastic fibre machine had caught fire.

Teams and appliances from Wakefield, Ossett, Dewsbury, Normanton and Featherstone attended.

No one was injured.
