I WANT to say a massive thank you to Darren, Chris, Sally, Titch, Doozer and all the staff for all the hard work getting the skatepark at Xscape reopened.
It's fantastic to have a local indoor skate park. Over the last couple of years the park hasn't been able to stay open for long, despite everyone's best efforts, as it is very expensive to run.

The crew have turned the park into a non-profit organisation, this means that any profits can be used exclusively for improvement of the park. It's really great that we have somewhere to skate, and somewhere to get together in a safe environment.

There are loads of exciting plans including competitions and demos and there is going to be a professional skate team (Vans UK) at the park on Saturday afternoon.
I can't wait to see what new tricks they have to show us. I would love to turn professional one day and without the chance to practice this would never be possible. Thank you everyone.
