WE would like to thank the people who stopped and helped on Mary Panel Hill, Ledston, on Saturday July 19 when our horse, Alfie, injured himself in his horse trailer.
The couple in the Volvo who helped on the phone and offered physical support and blankets, Liz Morritt who rang Ledston Equine Clinic and gave more physical support for tired legs and arms and Andy and Debbie from Sittingbourne who also physically and mentally assisted and drove the box to Ledston for Alfie to receive treatment.

A special thanks to Nigel at Ledston Equine Clinic for everything he did at the roadside and since.
We truly thought that we had lost Alfie but he is making a great recovery and we can't thank everyone enough for their calmness, quick-thinking, support and assistance at a time of great need.
If any of the people we mentioned would like to speak to us or visit Alfie, they can contact us on 07866 007759 or via email at wendyvaux@blueyonder.co.uk.
