FOR the first time in many years a steam locomotive train called at Castleford on Saturday, hauling a charter train from Scarborough to Liverpool for the tall ships event.

My photograph shows LNER Class A4 number 60009 Union of South Africa crossing the Tickle Cock Bridge at Castleford.
