MUSIC-lovers can dance and sing the day away at Featherstone's star-studded festival The Party on the Pitch.
Almost 1,000 revellers flocked to the first rock, pop and entertainment extravaganza at Featherstone Rovers' Chris Moyles Stadium last July.
This year's event will be opened by young Coronation Street star Sam Aston – Chesney in the soap – at 2pm on Saturday August 30.

Tribute acts Oasist and Fake That will then storm the stage with compere, and Elvis wannabe, Aidy Wells as well as local bands.
Stadium manager Alan Hunter told the Express: "This year should be bigger and better than last time, we are expecting it to blow our previous event out of the water.
"Act Class of 08 – a tribute to High School Musical – should go down a storm with the children.

"Four youngsters from Featherstone will start the show for us by singing their own songs and then together.
"It's going to be a fantastic day with lots of stars and we expect a massive turnout."
Children's games and refreshments will also be on offer at the festival in the Post Office Road club.
For festival tickets, priced £15, or more details, call Featherstone Rovers on 01977 702386.
