Local lad Parker scores first goal for Leeds United

PONTEFRACT-born Ben Parker scored his first goal for Leeds United's first team in Monday night's 5-2 win at Northampton Town in the FA Cup first round replay.
Former England youth international Parker, who attended St Wilfrid's RC High School, North Featherstone, was on target in the 41st minute as Leeds booked a second round trip to non-league Histon.
The 21-year-old defender drilled a left-foot shot into the the bottom right hand corner of the net from 35 yards out.
Highly-rated left-back Parker, who has gained valuable experience in loan spells at Bradford City and Darlington, made his tenth first-team appearance for Leeds this season in Monday's FA Cup clash at Sixfields.
Jermaine Beckford hit a hat-trick as Northampton were put to the sword.
