FEATHERSTONE'S bid to sign off on a high ended in highly disappointing fashion.
They led 18-0 inside 11 minutes and 32-12 late in the first half before losing the plot.
Halifax crossed twice just before the break and dominated the second half to surge 46-32 ahead.

Four minutes in the final nine minutes sealed Rovers' fate, during which time they also had a frustrated Handforth sent off for dissent.
